Teams are comprised through the consideration of many factors. They are primarily, but not limited to:

• Age
• Returning to previous year’s team
• School child attends

TEAM ROSTERS

No team name can be changed after official rosters have been handed out. Team names are chosen prior to the beginning of the season. No duplicate names shall be used in the Club. This allows for clarification in all club information which names are used (schedules, pictures, sponsorships, etc.).

PRACTICE

Practice begins in early August and will be held at a park or school in Rocklin. Practice times, days, and locations will be requested by coaches and determined by the Club. Players will be contacted by August 1st directly by their coaches regarding practice times and locations. Players are unable to request a certain practice time or location at time of registration as these are assigned directly to coaches after the rosters have already been finalized. Most coaches practice twice per week on a weeknight 4, 5, 6 or 7pm. Some coaches go to only one practice per week once games start, and some stop practicing during week near or after daylight savings time. Older teams may decide to continue to practice twice per week throughout.

GAMES

Soccer games are held on Saturdays, beginning in August and run through November. After the first five games there is a break weekend and then five more games. Most games will be played in Rocklin, Roseville, Loomis, Granite Bay and Lincoln.

REFUND POLICY



We understand that circumstances can change after registering. However, to ensure fairness to all participants and maintain smooth league operations — including team formation, volunteer coach assignments, uniform orders, and scheduling — Rocklin FC has established the following refund policy:

Refund Policy Timeline

• Full Refund (minus $15 admin fee):

o Cancellations requested on or before June 15 will receive a full refund of the registration fee, minus a $15 administrative processing fee.

Refund Policy

• Waitlist Replacement Option (conditional refund): From June 15 to July 15, refunds will only be granted if Rocklin FC can successfully replace your child with a player from the waitlist. In such cases, you will receive a refund of your registration fee minus a $50 administrative fee. Note: This is not guaranteed. Replacement depends on division availability and waitlist status.

• No Refunds After July 15 Due to finalized team rosters, uniforms, and scheduling commitments, no refunds will be issued for cancellations requested after August 1, regardless of reason, with the following exceptions:

• Exceptions (case-by-case review):

Refunds requested after July 15 will only be considered under the following documented circumstances:

o Player Injury or Medical Condition (doctor’s note required)

o Family Relocation outside of Rocklin FC's boundaries (proof of move required)

These requests must be submitted as soon as possible and will be reviewed by the league on a case-by-case basis. Approved refunds under these exceptions may still be subject to administrative and uniform costs already incurred. Please include the player's full name, date of birth, division, and reason for cancellation. Please allow up to 48 hours for confirmation and refund processing.
