AGE GROUPS

Rocklin FC follows US Club Soccer age-group standards, which use an August 1–July 31 birthdate cutoff beginning with the 2026–27 season.

How Age Groups Work

A player’s age group is determined by their date of birth, using August 1 as the annual cutoff.

For example, for the 2026–27 season:

• U8: August 1, 2018 – July 31, 2019
• U9: August 1, 2017 – July 31, 2018
• U10: August 1, 2016 – July 31, 2017

This system is designed to more closely align soccer age groups with school-year age groups.
